DIN EN ISO 13849 describes the standardised requirements for safety-related control systems.
DIN 15 185-2 specifies the safety requirements and functions for the use of industrial trucks in narrow aisles.
The GM-107cpu personnel protection system complies with all these regulations and has of course been type-tested for use on industrial trucks. As a safety device it fulfils the highest safety category SIL 2 / Performance Level d and is therefore state of the art.

are used simultaneously in a narrow aisle.
In this case, safe collision protection must also be guaranteed in addition to personal protection.

This can be solved by special laser scanners with a safe protective field with a range of up to 19 metres.

For this purpose, the vehicles must also be equipped with appropriate reflectors.

The necessary protective fields are also speed-dependent here.
The use of special laser scanners means that warehouse operations with several vehicles in a narrow aisle are permitted in accordance with regulations.
